And the winner is…

You wouldn’t believe it but 4 days ago K said to me that our next beta was going to be 8624. We laughed and said how exciting that would be, fairly well on track for doubling and a pretty clear sign that things were going well.

I mentioned that K was spotting a little last week, it stopped but then came back again on Friday and has been happening on and off over the weekend. Not much but enough to be noticeable. We’ve still been trying to tell ourselves that this is normal, trying to not worry but it does just keep getting harder. We’ve also been holding out for the blood test, but mostly for the scan tomorrow as that will tell us so much more. There’s nothing we can do until then, we really do just have to wait.

But this afternoon the blood test results came in. We were both in meetings at the time, K got a text and I got a phone call from our next-favourite-nurse.

The number you ask? 8624 of course… 🙂
