32 hours til test time (not that we’re counting…)

So yes, after being very zen about the first 10 days or so of this tww, the excitement and hope has been steadily (and quickly) building over the past couple of days.

Still no real sign of K’s period so technically*, she is late which we all know can be a great sign.

*I say technically because she ovulated late this month so as mentioned before it could all be a cruel joke, and this could just be the longest cycle she has had for a very long time (at least 18 monts).

So naturally, as each day goes by our hopes are getting higher and higher. Damnit I was so enjoying being calm and relaxed this time round! 😉

We didn’t test this morning after all, we decided to just wait for the blood test on Thursday, figuring it would just mess with our heads too much otherwise (heh like it’s not already).

Tonight we went out in the suddenly freezing, thunderstormy and wintry weather to watch some of K’s kids perform in the Stage Challenge, a sort of dance/drama competition which is a pretty big deal in all the high schools over here. It’s funny, this competition started 15 years ago when I was still at school and to see how incredibly well executed and professional looking it is now compared to then is amazing. They were pretty awesome as usual and came second in the regionals which they won last year – pretty awesome for a small (and small town) school.

Now it’s 11.30pm and I’m off to bed while K does some marking that she needs for reports – her bedtime eta is 3am – oh the life of a teacher!

I agree, the last couple of days of the TWW are the worst ever. That’s why so many people break down and test at 12DPO!
I hope you get that BFP!

So weird that it’s freezing there…I’ve been all over SEA in the winter and I forget just how far south NZ is. The world maps don’t do it justice. I think your country get shafted by the cartographers.

I guess since you left your comment that means you are back to the same old game. Damn. So sorry to hear that Tui.
I’m just waiting for the progesterone to go away so we can begin again with Day 1.
Try to enjoy your weekend, ok?

    xoxo

Aww, I was really hoping for you two this time around. Does this mean you’re moving on to injectables? The needles really aren’t that bad. Have you been practicing your reassuring smile yet?
    Take care of yourselves,
    -Joul
