Getting back on track

The last couple of months have been kinda nice, not worrying about dates and waits and the like (save for last months hurried can we fit in an IUI moments).

Now we are back to waiting for CD1 which should be today or tomorrow. I think this time we are a lot more balanced and ready for it, and as that was the whole idea behind the break that’s a very good thing.

The last couple of weeks have been pretty good, we had a nice dinner out for our anniversary, then went away to Orewa Beach last weekend. We had a great time up there, we originally were going to try and fit in some indoor skiing and luge but in the end we just spent the time laxing. On the way home we went for a tiki tour drive and found a waterfall at the end of a (very) short bushwalk, then came across some rock pools which I LOVE hehe.

I had Monday off as well and K is on school holidays now so we had 3 days together last weekend and as today is Anzac Day, we get another 3 days this weekend YAY. This weekend involves dvd watching, taking K’s 4 nieces and nephews to Horton Hears a Who and plenty more relaxing.

Puppy has grown a lot over the last few weeks and definitely has more than her fair share of bratty moments, but we still love her. I got up early this morning so K could sleep in and have been watching the Anzac Day dawn service coverage on TV. Just before they were interviewing some of the thousands that have travelled to Gallilopi to commemorate it and two of my school friends were interviewed which was pretty cool. I am now feeling very patriotic today!

They shall grow not old,
As we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning
We will remember them.
Lest We Forget.
